Caraflo V200 Shower Instructions | Tested

Tighten the sealing nuts onto the pipe connections using an adjustable wrench. Wrap the jaws of the wrench in a cloth to prevent scratching the polished chrome finish.

For a gravity-fed system, you must check that the supply pressure meets the minimum requirements. Also, to ensure the mixer works most efficiently, the operating pressures on both the hot and cold water lines should be balanced, and the incoming hot water must be at least 10°C above the desired final mixed temperature. If your water pressure exceeds 5 bar, you must install a pressure reducer before the mixer.

: Unscrew the shower hose from the base of the V200 valve. Let any trapped water drain out into the basin.

| | Value / Requirement | |---------------|-------------------------| | Maximum static pressure | 10 Bar | | Flow pressure (hot & cold) | 0.5 to 5 Bar | | Hot supply temperature | 55 to 65°C | | Cold supply temperature | ≤ 25°C | | Maximum mixed water temperature | 46°C (recommended 41°C for showers) | | Hot water must be at least | 10°C above required blend temperature | | Pipe centres (tail spacing) | 45mm | | Depth from wall | 75mm | | Height (vertical installation) | 165–175mm depending on model | | Outlet diameter | 20mm | caraflo v200 shower instructions

Ensure the hot water supply is piped to the left inlet and the cold water supply is piped to the right inlet. The valve will not function correctly if piped configuration is reversed.

If the water temperature does not match the factory-preset indicators on the knob dial, the internal thermostatic cartridge must be re-calibrated.

: Ensure the mixer valves are turned fully to the "Off" position. If using a trigger head, do not rely solely on the trigger to stop water; always turn off the main mixer to prevent pressure buildup in the hose. Maintenance & Care Tighten the sealing nuts onto the pipe connections
